DC wouldn't do that, would they? I liked how Superman tried and succeeded in finding a peaceful solution to his conflict with Zod, and ultimately helped him recreate Krypton on an uninhabited planet in a different galaxy.

Depending on how well it turns out, I don't not love that.
Facebook comments undermine the theory considerably though - they're just as bad as other places and they aren't anonymous.
I've said this before, but I'd rather see a movie with a packed house full of teenagers than an older couple, let along (heaven forbid) multiple groups of older people. Absolutely no fucks given for anyone else in the cinema and most of the time they're not even talking about the damn movie.
As much as I'd rather see this than a Han Solo prequel, there is SO MUCH room to tell completely original stories in the SW universe and I wish they'd give even a hint that they're planning to do that, rather than just strip-mining the OT for characters and adjacent scenarios.
Yeah, I'm the first to express horror at the growing streak of bellicose nationalism in Australian civil discourse, but I'm still going to call it when I see it in other places. The existence of Pauline Hanson doesn't make Nigel Farage or Heinz-Christian Strache any less a fact.
And a very old friend of mine on Facebook (soon to unfriended) has been repeatedly calling for his accuser to be jailed. It's fucking sickening.
Yeah, that last bit is probably true tho.
Reading your post, I see three possibilities. 1) You're having a stroke. 2) I'm having a stroke. 3) This is a real thing that happened.
I don't entirely disagree, but I think a guy who thinks it's sensible to post on Reddit about committing insurance fraud probably 'lives on the internet' at least as much as we do.
Oh look, it's the fucking Candyman of rape apologetics. Say "rape culture" three times while looking in a mirror and Dan shows up behind you saying, "Well actually, there are two sides to every story."
Yeah, I like my video games to have a narrative element to them, and also I'm shit at them and got brutally and incessantly owned the few times I tried playing online.
Uuuugh.
Yeah, definitely. For people who've mostly stuck to mass market lagers it'd demonstrate how well that style can be done. I think I might be entering a kind of reverse-beer-snob phase where I'd rather just drink something clean and cold with a bit of flavour to it than a triple hopped imperial stout or…
I agree that Twilight sucks, but I also never really saw the point in getting as worked up over it as people do. There's certainly a particularly vicious level of ire reserved by a lot of people for things targeted at teenage girls. I see it around this site all the time; a truly venomous contempt for young women that…
Oh, that's awesome! Definitely going to do that with my daughter when she's old enough.
Wait, is it Zimmern or Bourdain who's friends with that fuckface?
Bourdain is one of the few people, if not the only person, I looked up to in my early mid 20s that I don't find totally insufferable now. I'd love to have a beer, some bun bo Hue, and some good fucking chat with him.
Solidarity. My mental health is also bottoming out right now, but I've got a business idea motivating me to do something other than work, parenting, housework, and sleeping whenever possible.
Had a schooner of Brooklyn Lager yesterday. Bloody nice beer IMO.
