Fuuuuuuuck that sounds good. I love me some tripe and tendon in pho, so I'm keen to try other iterations.

I think there's probably some overlap, but a good chunk of the Tea Party, while it was the textbook definition of an astroturf movement, was made up of genuinely economically depressed people. Alt-right internet fuckwads aside, Trump's base seems to be largely lower middle class to middle class suburban white people…
It was just trying so, so hard to be edgy that it was laughable, and then I turned it off and never bothered with any of his other stuff.
I love the irony that people who incessantly use "triggered" and "go to your safe space" as insults are, in fact, the biggest collection of glass-jawed crybabies in the world.
I've only just discovered Chapo and holy shit. It's like three much, much funnier and smarter versions of me brilliantly articulating thoughts I can barely shape into anything other than a strangled cry.
To be clear, if I was in a position to vote in this election, I'd be voting Clinton despite my enormous misgivings.
Stop virtue signalling!
I don't think a single halfway sensible person is surprised Clinton hasn't made a full leftward turn since winning the nomination. That said, I also don't have a lot of time for the vanishingly few people who see her and Trump as precisely equivalent.
Why is my response to her "knee-jerk"? I've been following her career for like twenty years.
To me, possibly the weirdest person in this whole election debacle is the non-Trump supporter or notional liberal who is primarily concerned that we not criticise Trump because we "won't win over his supporters."
Wow, it only took him two posts to refer to South Park like it's the unassailable authority on whatever topic it addressed last week.
What I find more troubling is Clinton supporters, instead of saying "Well, she's a flawed candidate but she's the best we've got right now," actually vociferously supporting her horrible right wing positions but still acting aghast if you question their progressive credentials.
Ah, "statist." It's up there with "SJW" and "virtue signalling" as a surefire indicator that I don't have to take you seriously.
I can totally see that working - I'll chuck some in to my next batch of tuna salad.
That's my understanding too.
Yeah, fair cop. It's shit that we're going to be ten years and close to twenty movies deep into the MCU before getting a movie with a female lead, and one with a perfect excuse to cast someone over 30 or 35 to boot.
I really want to try scrapple, but I think it's pretty unlikely to make it to Australia any time soon.
Shit, I've watched Peep Show all the way through multiple times and I don't remember that. Mind you, I've only recently discovered Bob Ross, so I probably just elided over the references when they came up on PS.
Nah, he's the AV Club's favourite cranky uncle, previously posting as Lobsters, Lobsters1, Daffy Dick, and a few other handles.
I love curried egg mayo sandwiches, and a riff on coronation chicken salad I make from time to time that features Keen's curry powder and store-bought mango chutney.
