That Kenneth Copeland movie was one of my earliest experiences with pop culture disappointment. Thanks for reminding me of it!

Did I… do that?
Because the show itself brings up that Supreme Court decision in episode one.
I believe both are true: Philip and Elizabeth recovered fake plans, but if the Soviets had done their due diligence in testing them, it would have been quickly apparent they had been had. The Americans killed the Soviet men through deliberate interference and provocation; the Soviets did through institutional…
He has limited range, but he's really good within that range. There are some actors who can do anything, and there are some who are skilled position players. Livingston's one of the latter.
The Pacific is really fantastic. It also plays much better in one big gulp than as episodes spread out over week and week.
I think the whole of The Pacific is one of the better portrayals of that sort of psychological deterioration, but that had just a handful of protagonists, and Band Of Brothers is more of an ensemble piece ultimately. More difficult to get really psychologically deep with a larger cast.
Yes, Blithe's death is ONLY mentioned in the post-episode titles. It's an unbelievably easy fix to make to future editions and the ones up on HBO Go. Crazy.
The whole Fox empire is increasingly into DVR viewership over live. No way would Mindy Project have been renewed even a year ago with the numbers it got before renewal.
Freeman's done a lot of TV, though. This is Thornton's first real TV credit.
A T-shirt that reads "I went on a 10-year voyage, and it was still named after the other guy."
It was Odysseus!
Good news for you! We cover well over three dozen shows right now, and I am only reviewing eight of them! And three of those are ending in the next week, so you'll have even less of me!
They probably could only get Billy Bob if he was first billed, so "With" is the next most prestigious credit after that.
I DO like this type of genre. That's why I shit on it so much.
If you want to read some terrible writing, go here and do a CTRL-F for "Todd." You will see the top 30 list I posted shortly after the end of the finale and a lot of prose I am incredibly embarrassed by. http://web.archive.org/web/…
Twilight Zone was actually never in any danger. Even season four had healthy readership (though lower than the first three seasons), and the first three were all very well read by TVCC standards. That said, I have no idea what to expect for season five, though I'm guessing the "Nightmare" article will buoy every other…
I don't think it's so much that we see them on vacation as it is that they break the fourth wall and wave at us. Just a flyover of their rowboat as they take a break would have been fine.
I genuinely believe Carter and Spotnitz didn't think about the sexual politics of what they were saying and got way in over their heads. Which is perhaps too charitable.
The A+ used to exist. Then it was taken away from us in a brutal accident.
