He plays Mike's dad "Grandpa Buzz."

They've been selling the "Sarah romance!" angle for so many seasons now that I assume they have some researching that indicates somebody's really into it.

It's not a song about coming out, nor did I say it was. I just said the story of the song gains something from knowing his sexuality.

It's easier to sell the romantic angle—no matter how slight—than it is the Max storyline or the Zeek/Camille story.

Next week is the one hour Raising Hope series finale.

Yeah, but "people who are on Tumblr" are pretty much the people who decide these polls, because they're the ones who have hours to devote to voting.

I married her before I worked here. I don't know how well it would have gone if I had this job when we met.

NBC just has that guy on retainer.

I kept waiting for Zeek to have a heart attack or stroke from the second I saw the Katims' credit. Not to be!

Damn. I thought that was Barry Corbin. I didn't think to go back to the credits and check.

Along those lines, this, which is all fine and good and Miller Boyett-y, until the final few seconds, when it becomes TRANSCENDENT.

My wife haaaaaaaates this show. She loved that episode.

I loved Crosby threatening that guy with a bad Yelp review.

I think the edit of that scene from the promo last week was all on the NBC promo department, which wants us to think of this show as a tawdry soap.

Oh, man, I'll bet it's Joel. That's just like the NBC promotional department to fuck with us like that.

I had some say in what was included (New Girl, for instance, wasn't in there initially, nor was True Detective), but Hulu mostly picked the shows. I didn't push too hard for Girls. It was just on my list of shows they might think about including past the ones they initially sent me.

I'm still betting on Hannibal. I think their fanbase is the MOST engaged right now, and that tends to be the show that wins.

You're right. I got too caught up in trying to make my math work.

The guy they had handle the season two Paleyfest panel was much better.
