Look, I'm willing to yell misogyny or sexism at the drop of a hat. I don't see it here. But I'm also willing to hear why you think this show IS misogynistic! Maybe you'll convince me.

I wouldn't really call this show misogynistic, but to each their own.
The ratings for Bates are actually pretty good. But it certainly doesn't have the actively engaged fan base of a Walking Dead or Breaking Bad.
I suspect a lot of stuff just won't be answered, which will be fine by me.
Not planning on it. If anybody gets really enthused about it, maybe we'll drop in on the finale.
Plenty of critics who love Americans not only aren't married, but they've never been married. I think the divide here is more something about visual style, as Americans is very classically filmed, and highly unlikely to have many stunning images. That doesn't mean its badly directed, just that the show has different…
There will be at least one Hannibal in the first batch that gets a number of lower grades.
I thought long and hard about making an argument for Manimal.
I've examined her. She's just fine.
Friday night is just about perfect for it for three reasons: 1.) Reduced expectations. 2.) More compatible lead-in that 3.) does pretty well on a night that's a wasteland for other networks. If Hannibal holds on to, say, 70% of its Grimm leadin, it should be just fine.
Well, I mean, it's me. I could get at least 1,300 words out of a potato.
I agree. But I get why people feel the way they do.
We've all seen the show. You can say frakkin'.
I do too!
To be fair, seasons three and four shift the show, subtly, toward character drama and away from action series. The latter is still very much present in the show, but if that was the primary reason you were watching (as many of the fans were), it can be disconcerting. Hell, it's disconcerting when any show shifts its…
I like the final season quite a bit, though I know the finale doesn't have the greatest reputation. There's still some amazing television in there.
I believe they have the rights to both British stuff and the HBO stuff.
Too much good TV on now! Don't have a ton of room for promising shows that might get good but are also stuck in timeslots that essentially promise no one will watch them.
Because it's just reruns of Da Ali G show with very short, new introductions.
I have seen The Greatest Show On Earth. It is a trainwreck, but it is a Cecil B. DeMille directed trainwreck and, thus, sort of grandly stupid and entertaining.
