He found another job, so we're going to a rotating wheel of reviewers.

For the 100th time, the grades of AHS are intentionally nonsensical, because I don't know how to grade it 95% of the time. That's why the article always ends with "B for…" or "C for…" I'll admit more people would get that if the grades were all over the map (maybe not for a Ryan Murphy show), but the rubric has worked

Season five of Parenthood is basically a misbegotten remake of season three of Borgen anyway.

It was up for a while. Is it not anymore?

There are two more multiple show lists (and one is really, really, really a cheat, but it was fun, so I don't care). If it was just one show per article every day, that would be boring!

Again, as I said in the article, I can extrapolate most of those answers on my own (or I can guess at some of them blindly), but by asking the audience to do that, the show is falling down on the job in a lot of ways. It's usually good to make your audience do some of the work, but not all of it. I feel like I spend

The Fall is great! You might keep an eye out for it later on this list hint-hint.

Thank you. I never once thought, "Oh, a hot water bottle. Of course it's an enema!"

This might have been my favorite episode of the season. Realizing that made me realize how checked out I feel this year.

I thought the show made pretty clear that Misty brought back Kyle, too, but I guess you could argue it was some combination of all of them together. I think the best answer is that he doesn't have all of his original body parts.

Well, ABC kind of owes her, so I imagine they'd be amenable to some sort of negotiated wrap-up like happened with Lost.

I would strongly disagree with that. It's still very much throwing things at the wall. What's happened is that it's in danger of cancellation, so even those of its viewers who are normally more willing to call out its lukewarm elements are rallying around it.

We tried to find a different approach for every single show on the list, because reading a bunch of essays that said, "This was great!" would quickly get boring. Sorry this one didn't work for you!

These are unranked.

I thought everybody here loved Man Of Steel? I just remember a lot of anger at us for panning it.

I don't think anyone wants me voting on the music list. My ballot would be mostly nonsensical, because I don't make an effort to listen to enough year-end releases.

I have written bad reviews where I thought, "Am I panning something that will be hailed as a classic in 20 years?" But that's almost always for shows that get D's or F's.

If the ratings are good enough, it will be renewed. But TNT seems to be actively trying to ensure the ratings aren't good enough.

I don't vote on our music list, sadly. If I did, it would just be ladies singing over synthesizers and also Neko Case.

All of them!
