The new backend is a breeze to use, and it will make it possible for us to do much cooler stuff once everything out front is properly arranged. We just have to finish unpacking all our boxes.

I miss notifications, too (they were helpful for my nighttime editing chores), but I actually think if you go to the TV Club landing page, it's much simpler to use and easier to find articles from the last couple of days than it was in the old design. I get that's not the same as getting a notification for one of your…

I suspect that's there because I think it's the most popular article we've ever run by several orders of magnitude. It still gets over 100,000 hits per year. It must be linked somewhere.

I think we manually set the promotions for that. We just really think y'all need to read some Kurt Vonnegut.

Weird! It used to sort in that manner. Don't know why it went back to the old way, but that drives me nuts, too. I'll pass that along.

Tom Hardy likes the 2013 puppies, and you should, too?

That's all DIsqus.

We get daily reports about this, and Monday was high (because of the article you mention), but the other days have been within the average comments range. Also, just eyeballing TV Club comments, they've all been right about where they usually are, with some being a little low (HIMYM) and some being a little high (AHS).

I think it would be pretty sweet if this show became a Tim Powers secret history kinda thing.

Do a hard refresh.

This week, yes. Other weeks, no. But I find this show really easy to write about for some reason.

She said she was going to call that kid's school at the debate, so I assume she did that.

I'd say this is much more immediately "funny" than Louie or Girls or Enlightened, particularly in the latter half of the season, but you'll need a taste for darker humor, and not everyone has that.

Two reasons I have more faith in Chuck Lorre in this milieu than I did Michael Patrick King (even when I was still giving 2BG the benefit of the doubt):

As always, the grades are not intended seriously for this show. They are merely windows into what madness has o'ertaken me that week.

Normal adjectives don't really apply to American Horror Story, both at its best and worst.

Have any particular sections you're interested in? I hesitate to post the whole thing because it's long and the quality isn't very high. But I can post some of the individual moments!

As always I have the full audio and am happy to post selections on my Tumblr. You need only ask.

Hate my writing all you want, but I'm pretty sure American Horror Story is not the hill you want to die on.

He killed the previous occupant, but I like your thoughts better, and Dylan McDermott DID build that gazebo in an afternoon…
