2012 certainly had no shortage of Goodman.

@avclub-478d83cd5d9e35df391a933e5eff93dd:disqus You left out the important bit in your selective quoting, that it is important for a critic making a best of list for 2012. If you don't think a critic should Django Unchained before finalizing a published list that is laughable and outright stupid.
That's exactly it.

I feel like just recently I heard or read someone talking about that. Maybe on here or on a podcast?

I guess you could say that you're buy-curious about the leather shorts. Wait a second, are you secretly Tobias?
Aren't the outlines of Destruction's balloons bolded? I always read a strength and command of his life into that, separating him from the humans with unbolded balloons, rather than him being integrated into the waking world.

I watched 3 Women this weekend as well, before it expired from Netflix. I agree with everything you said, especially the brilliant Duvall character, but the ending lost me. It seemed to come out of nowhere and I had no idea what to make of it.

Azog gets a brief mention in the appendices (without the defiler part) but if I remember correctly he was killed well before the timeline of The Hobbit.

Forget about that, what if someone comes at you with fresh fruit?
