Stannis/Melisandre is sticking in my craw a little.  I know there were insinuations from other characters in the books that the two of them were fucking, but I don't remember the question ever being definitively answered.  Seems out of character for him, IMO.

forget_it_jake: As far as I remember, Rakharo's hair isn't a detail mentioned in the books (although presumably some fighting went down while Dany was out of it following the whole Mirri Maz Duur debacle).

Agreed it will be difficult, but if nothing else, it should be fun seeing Dany and her Drogon in action.  Girl's gotta start earning her braids.

Really excited to see what they do with Dany's scene in the House of the Undying.  So many tasty tidbits and hints in there to relish.

Yes, if I remember S1 correctly, I think there were similar freaky flashes when Jim was sick in the back of the RV.

Daryl is arguably the most capable character.  And not nearly as dumb as some of the other characters seem to believe.  I'd be all for a show with Daryl taking on more of a leading role, if not for the fear that the writers would find a way to quickly smother the spark Reedus has managed to lend him.

Saving grace of the episode for me was Daryl's straightforward explanation about Shane killing Otis.  AND he's been making more bolts for his crossbow.  Writers: more of this, please.
