It was such a fun show. I know it was getting old and I should be happy we got five seasons, but I'd have been thrilled if we'd had one more. Barring that, I wish season 5 had been a bit longer.

I've seen more of Killjoys than I have of Dark Matter, although that doesn't mean much, seeing as how I haven't gotten through an whole episode of Killjoys. Also, I agree it's highly generic. Plus, Dutch, the lead female, annoys me. It seems as though she's either yelling at someone (usually John or his brother…
I can guarantee that, in the future, you will develop really, really, really short term memory problems.
You are correct, of course. He's a flat-out zealot. He's also dumb as a bag of hair.
Rick Santorum is a hateful, backward man. He deserves to be entrenched in, and permanently brought down by, a tawdry, disgusting scandal.
So late to this, but I have to thank you. Is it possible that our reviewer and a few other people here have never seen a round cake pan, or a double layer cake? It's mystifying.
Yep. And the segment hadn't ended when I turned the radio back on.
I don't watch The Americans, but that sure as hell isn't why. (Actually, I don't even know why I don't watch it) I mean, everyone has a limit to what they'll accept from a not-always-sympathetic protagonist, but that's just weird.
I didn't even recognize her in that photo. Once I realized it was Amy, it still didn't look like her.
She looks great in these photos:
It's true that her looks don't (or shouldn't) matter, but I've noticed that her level of attractiveness changes. Overall, I'd say she's cute. Sometimes she's really pretty, like here:
I'll try to track it down. Thanks.
I imagine Leary is not averse to showing his character being punched in the face. I like Leary, and I'd still love to see his face being punched.
I stopped watching Masterchef USA a couple seasons ago. It could be a fun show, but I hate that they not only allow sabotage and backbiting, but actually build it into the show. I don't want to watch people taunting each other. I've been cooking for decades, and I just want to see other home cooks doing what they love…
The American version would have been fine if there had been a different host. I don't actually hate Foxworthy, but, cripes, he was a crappy choice to host the show.
Yep. A lot of my friends love him. They look at me like I have lobsters crawling out of my ears when I say that I find him unbearable.
Ira Glass is the reason I can't stand This American Life. The almost stammering and the pauses - pretty much everything about the way he speaks on the show - drives me batty. It's such an irritating affectation; he makes me want to throw things.
Ha! Me too. I'm just not sure if it's a real, live, actual movie or if @disqus_GV4Vy8unWg:disqus made it up.
Heh.My husband said he never thought he'd feel bad for the senator. I said I still didn't feel bad for him. Granted, he's been written as a miserable bastard and nothing more; we've never been given a reason to sympathize with him. At any rate, I didn't do a happy dance over the stroke, but I my heart didn't go out to…
That scene between Teddy and Janet just about killed me. I almost cried when she said "I wish I hadn't told you to call me Janet."
