I interpreted the daughter's response to mean "you think all I'm interested in is boys because I'm a teenaged girl, but there are plenty of other things I care about, and lots of other reasons I'd want to go into the city."

Thanks, mbs, for mentioning it. I knew it was due to return soon. I would have eventually checked the digital guide, but now I don't have to.

That just about killed me. So so heartbreaking.

Yeah, I've done some hand-clamping too, and I've had look away from some scenes, e.g., Mason Verger cutting his own face. Even done in shadow, it was just too much. But the show never feels exploitative; having watched more than my share of L&O:SVU and Criminal Mind, I know when something is exploitative and when it's

That makes me happy.

I'll also admit I had a hard time following it. (It doesn't help that I'm away from home and the house where I'm staying doesn't have a DVR. No rewinding!)

That would be the most polite riot in all of history.

Considering AVClub has been misbehaving for the better part of two weeks, this is a bad time to ask me if I like it. No AVClub, I do not like you right now.

I was torn while watching the finale. I've loved Ginger since the start; while it took me a long time to warm up to Violet, she eventually won me over. I would have cheered the hell out of Ginger winning, but when Ru finally* announced the winner, it felt right.

That's Our Donnie!

Yeah. I get what the reviewer is saying, but people are kind of too quick to forget Helena is a psychologically damaged murderer who has shown a child-like ability to go from rage to praising/lovey.

A thousand upvotes.

She's sure as hell funnier than Sarah Silverman.

You might get an explanation. I'm not convinced it will be reasonable, though. I've never seen even a minute of American Dad, but I feel like I have to give my support to the people who'd like to see just a mention of it. Sometimes I think AVClub just amuses itself by getting the AD fans riled up.

And she needs to keep her mouth shut about missing Cosima. Maybe she does, but saying it isn't helping Cosima get past the break-up.

I completely understand why Delphine broke off the relationship. It's all the other things she's done since damn near day one that I can't forgive.

Delphine's hair is not so great that she can be forgiven for messing with Cosima's heart.

Evil Lincoln posts so I don't have to. But I will anyway. This is one of the dumber debates I've seen in a while. FFS, who cares? The bigger question is why anyone would be inspecting the money when Donnie and Allison are dancing on the bed, in their underwear.

Oh for god's sake. I've never been much of a Letterman fan, but that's downright insulting.

Well, I do love Ginger, and I agree that what she said was true. I think, though, that she and Kennedy ganged up on Violet in a pretty nasty way. While it could just be editing at work, it seemed to be motivated by a desire to to knock Violet off balance, as opposed to them just giving some constructive criticism/a
