Agreed. I enjoyed this episode a lot. And, despite what Zack said in the review, I don't believe the show is beyond saving. It's already solved one problem by getting rid of Hawley. Also, Katrina was barely in this episode. Of course, it could just be a fluke, and they weren't addressing the complaints about earlier…
Dirty Dancing is as dumb as a bag of hair, but I love it. Flashdance and Ghost are the movies that make me want to throw things.
Just watching the coverage of the coming blizzard gave me flashbacks to the anxiety I used to develop when I lived in PA and a snow storm was on its way. Not having to deal with snow is one of the reasons I moved to NC.
How much do you want to bet that Ben insists he's fine and doesn't need therapy?
Upon your recommendation, I will give Maid in Manhattan a look-see. I appreciate a good romantic comedy, but there are so many bad ones that I've given up on them.
I have been kind of intimidated by the idea of reading DFW's work, specifically IJ. I've read a few of his essays, and was really impressed, but tackling his longer works has always seemed almost insurmountable to me. Thank you for the encouragement.
Damn. He is one tall dude.
I don't think I've seen any of the episodes with Funches, but I'll keep any eye out for them.
Kind of off topic, but while watching that episode of @Midnight, I couldn't figure out if Pete Holmes is really, really tall or if he only looked it because he was standing between Oswalt and Kinane.
That trailer for Kingsmen (ha! I just misspelled Kingsmen too. Twice) actually shocked me. Not because I was offended, but because CC regularly bleeps any word that's harsher than "damn" or "hell".
I was surprised to see Rosalie there too, but I imagine it was a case in which there was no leaving her behind. She wouldn't have let that happen. And now we know that, despite how adorably cute she is when she voges (sp?), she is not to be messed with. She will fuck you up but good if she has to.
This one wasn't in slow motion, which made it better.
Upvoted for the use of "shindig".
Lindsay Lohan's parents make me wish there was a law against being a terrible person.
I assume anyone who uses a smiley in a work email also uses a heart to dot "i's.
Your point? I seriously want to know, because there are several things I could address about that monologue.
Which was hilarious. I've never seen Kinane do anything before. I laughed so hard I was crying.
I will never understand why anyone could admire Scarlett O'Hara, but, man, I know a lot of people who do, because of her "spirit" and her "refusal to accept defeat." But to me she was just a terrible person who ran over everybody in her way. No amount of spirit or determination can redeem her.
DEAD!
