And it's not just parents' siblings. It's mom and dad, and grandparents. I'm kind of over it. Maybe it's because I'm solidly in the parent-of-adult-children age range (don't have kids, but I don't think that matters). At 58, I can even fit into the grandparent age range, and I have two great-great nephews.

You need to start having Thanksgiving with different people. Gingerbread is fantastic.

It's sad and rage-inducing. While a few of the nuns who taught us were crazy and/or mean (our grade school principle used to threaten to "annihilate" us on a regular basis. And one time she got so mad at my sister that she picked her up by the collar and slammed her against a wall), most of them were pretty awesome

I love Rachel Maddow. I think she's smart as a whip, and I have a big old crush on her.

*Gasps* I don't even know who you are anymore. *runs away, crying*

I thought it might be the Spice Girls, but wasn't sure because I thought they hit the scene in the early 2000s. If I were on the show and got that clue, I'd probably write down The Spice Girls as a joke.

Nooooo! I demand an explanation.

Booo!

There is no way those lyrics are actually part of the song, right?

Oh, man. I did forget about that for a minute. That was a whole lot of nutty going on there.

It's not good, but I like it anyway. I just really like Tea Leoni. She and Tim Daly are very believable as a married couple. Plus, Bebe Neuwirth, who is great in it and deserves a better show.

"I am I said, to no one there. And no one heard at all, not even the chair."

I don't think Alicia allowed her to take the note with her. Grace was just being a total dumbass.

Bishop is a great character. I like that he's a murderous drug dealer who's completely and genuinely devoted to his son. On a lot of shows, you'd see him acting like an asshole at his son's soccer game, but on TGW he acts like any other reasonable parent would.

I think Castro is so deep into the case that it would be an embarrassment to back out now. Also, he hates Alicia, and probably wants to bring her down no matter what.

I imagine that would not be the first time she's skipped town. Thus her unwillingness to discuss her past.

I have never liked Kalinda, but her devotion to Cary is impressive. She's willing to risk her life for him. She might not be in love with him, but she loves him deeply.

I think she's the only one he truly respects. He talks to her almost like a colleague (when he's not threatening her, of course), as though they have an established relationship. It's not friendly, but I think he does realize she's capable of being a major badass, and that she doesn't always stay within the law when

I also haven't like Marissa until her past few episodes. She's growing on me though. I laughed out loud when she asked Alicia which episode of Darkness at Noon the death threat came from. Because of course Marissa watches Darkness at Noon.

Ha! You speak the truth. I'm usually bored or annoyed by pregnancy/motherhood storylines because they're so completely outdated.
