I watched a few episodes of Blue Bloods this weekend. It is a terrible show. Keep in mind that I watch NCIS and The Mentalist, and I'm a fan of TV cop shows in general. Blue Bloods is bad.

I don't have much patience for precocious kids on TV, but she's so good that I have to love her.

That was a great ending to a terrific episode. Watching Junior work on his butt-sighting face (I don't know what else to call it) was hilarious. And I loved that he got "damn" right on the first try.

What really sent me over the edge was Dean calling the waitress he'd been sleeping with a skank. As much of a horndog as he can be, he has never engaged in slut-shaming. His attitude has always been "We're adults. We had fun and everyone left happy." He always seemed to have a lot of affection for the women he's had…
