Yes! While Adalind is not my favorite Grimm character, I do appreciate how she revels in her witchy shenanigans. (I mighty disappointed when she turned into a helpless simp while she was pregnant)

The look on Abbie's face was so great. It was just a look of casual amusement because she lives with it every day and this was just one more incident, but Beharie nailed that expression.

Thanks to Sleepy Hollow, now we know for sure.

She's so non-witchy that I occasionally get the feeling she's not a witch at all. I'm not sure how witches powers work within the show, but it seems like Katrina's powers, if, indeed, she even has any, are easily blocked.

I was never a big Psych fan, but I always loved that bit.

Works every time.

Heh. Sometimes I'm at my best when I'm cranky.

OK, thanks. Amazon has seasons 2-7. I'd love to know why they don't have season 1, because it just seems stupid not to. Dumbasses (Pardon my crankiness. I woke up at 5AM and was in so much pain I had to get out of bed to walk it off. Bleh)

My husband just finished "Annihilation", and recommended I read it too. But I just read Atwood's "Oryx and Crake", so I'm not sure I can handle another dystopian novel at this point. "Oryx and Crake" damn near made me want to jump off a bridge.

How serialized is Prime Suspect? I mean, as far as I know, each season covers one case, but are there other plot lines that carry over from one season to the next? I just checked Amazon Prime, and, of course, season 1 isn't available. Can I jump into season 2?

Ouch! That was brilliantly scathing. I haven't seen Dallas Buyers Club, but I'm always inclined to take your opinion of movies and television seriously. I think I'll give DBC a big, fat pass. I seldom see movies in the theater, and I get really pissed off when I spend a lot of time and money on a piece of crap.

Yeah, I've always assumed the differences between mainstream Protestant religions are small; I jokingly say they're not religions, they're income levels.

Goth Girl makes me stabby.

Jesus, her whining made me want to punch things. I loved the look on Nina's face when Korina started yapping about how she hadn't overdone the southwestern look and besides she won with that design. For fuck sake, winning with a particular look does not mean you can do it repeatedly.

I didn't notice that, but I like it. It's a nice, subtle note.

I'm looking forward to seeing a middle-age white guy with a jheri curl.

Rainbow's story line just annoyed the hell out of me. She's so busy congratulating herself that she doesn't listen to her daughter, has to essentially lie to her and finagle a way to hear the details again, then does the same thing, because of course she does. I mean, I realize sitcoms live and die on the foibles of

They're effectively a charity first, and a church second.

Yes, this is what I'm thinking. It's been done a gazillion times, but I have faith in this show pulling it off.

Minions! Always up to miniony-type stuff.
