My husband just finished "Annihilation", and recommended I read it too. But I just read Atwood's "Oryx and Crake", so I'm not sure I can handle another dystopian novel at this point. "Oryx and Crake" damn near made me want to jump off a bridge.

How serialized is Prime Suspect? I mean, as far as I know, each season covers one case, but are there other plot lines that carry over from one season to the next? I just checked Amazon Prime, and, of course, season 1 isn't available. Can I jump into season 2?

Ouch! That was brilliantly scathing. I haven't seen Dallas Buyers Club, but I'm always inclined to take your opinion of movies and television seriously. I think I'll give DBC a big, fat pass.
