Regarding that article, I'm a woman and I don't think the female characters are underdeveloped. It's just that some viewers prefer the badassery instead of common sense. Skyler was annoying at the begining but them I came to understand her and like her, and feel simpathy for her. Last season was desvastating to see…

The AV Club stopped reviewing "Hell on Wheels" because of the few clicks and comments those reviews had. It's a far from perfect show, but still with interesting things to see and talk about.

You reminded me of boring was the second season of The Wire, it was impossible to watch. Boring and annoying, I couldn't root for any of the characters. Still, I kept watching because someone told me it was going to get better.
