Yeah, that's pretty close to how I feel too….it's like being asked for advice on the best late Aerosmith ballads. I can even like me some Genesis, but that solo Phil Collins just bounces right off of my noggin.

Surely, timeless bands like the Spin Doctors are exempt from such criticisms!

That's covered in the (highly entertaining) Bone Thugs N Harmony episode of Unsung (they get into at about 31:20). I think it had something to do with the thuggishness of his ruggishness:

…a few seconds more research reveals that Hannibal was the 5th most illegally downloaded show for THE SPRING of 2013, but didn't make the overall 2013 top 10, for whatever that's worth,

Well, an extremely exhaustive internet search (AKA ten seconds) reveals that A) every other show on the widely-published list of 'most illegally downloaded shows of 2013' managed to be a success/lucrative/not-get-cancelled and B) Hannibal isn't actually on that list at all. Temper your guilt accordingly:

This stuff is all great, but what it really reminds me of is the king of all '70s toys: motherfucking Evil Kneivel Stunt Cycle. With his bendy arms and shit. You could fling that thing at/over/into anything interesting, and it never got boring, it just got taken away from you for exceeding the fun threshold.

Nice. I vaguely remember having a bunch of projector-based toys in the '70s….like a gun that would project ghosts on the wall? I took them apart after a couple days and permanently broke them, each and every one.

I had that USS Enterprise playset, and I think a Spock figure. I can't remember much about it, except I can pretty much feel the transporter knob spinning in my fingers right now.

Oh man, some of this stuff looks great….and then there's "The Walton's Country Home" @ 19:52. There's nothing children love more than toy grandparents.

That's because Up In Smoke is awesome.

Is it cool or tremendously frightening that I wrote a years-long Dungeons and Dragons campaign based on 9/11 which involved me repeatedly telling my players "NO GNOMES WENT TO THE MINES THAT DAY!!"?

I've sought out those interviews before, and they're pretty much just what you'd expect it you've ever seen a Buzz interview. Buzz don't give a shit.

Conversely, I would like to propose that Nice Dreams is the unrealized genius comedy of the 20th century, you philistine.

A Frank Frazzetta museum exhibit is probably the last thing I'd expect at SXSW…and one of the first things I'd want to see.

That's true…if they could just lay off the sugar they might be tasty. The glaze alone will give you diabetes, and then they want to put frosting and marshmallows on that shit. Admittedly, they're also probably the best donuts in the world, from like 10pm to 5am, when such things can seem VERY important, and nobody

I'd like to note that Voodoo Donuts are fucking gross.

I love that scene, just because Sinatra's all shaky and sweaty and can barely keep it together, and Leigh is like "Hey, who's THIS charming fellow?".

Burger King is the worst. Who knew you could slice bacon so thin that it could get stuck in your teeth?

Of course….other languages have their own character encoding standards!

What about ASCII code, yo?
