Excellent point, thank you.

I think it's a big leap to go from considering additional terms unnecessary to invalidating someone's existence.

I understand, actually. I just don't agree that it requires nothing to accept this additional designation.

"Oooh! What do you mean by "regular?" You bigot! You hater!"

Just to be devil's advocate, and interpreting what I think ETD meant: understanding that I am no longer a female or a woman, but that I am a cisgendered female, requires me to accept a made-up designation in place of a perfectly fine and simple original designation.

In this case, and, I expect, in many cases, asking the person being referred to was not possible. So my question is more about those circumstances, where it isn't clear.

I gotta say, I am sort of in agreement. While I want to be respectful and refer to people in the manner they choose, it's getting so we cannot safely refer to any groups of people without offending someone somewhere.

Man - I mean, Monster, this is a softball question even I can answer: find someone who prefers the filling to the cookie, and have them lick/slurp it out.

Although I haven't encountered is an overwhelming number of times, I've seen it often enough to feel that it is often used as a pejorative by the LGBTetc.etc. community.

I hope the first letter-writer is able to navigate that tricky situation they're in, and that their concern and love for their sister - along with the proven track record of secret-keeping - trumps the fury that the sister is going to undoubtedly feel. I don't really see any other choice for him or her since the

Sure, same when I was growing up in the 70s. But with my currently school-aged son, I believe he has been on antibiotics twice in his life - once with an ear infection and once with strep. I've taken him in for coughs, etc. but never received it any other time.

Yeah, maybe that's at least part of it, too. To be fair, the actor was never one of my favorites in "The Wire" either. I do think he does a better job with Tyreese in general than he did on that show, but this was not a great moment. It would have been hard for me not to laugh (nervously!) in his face and roll my eyes

"Gross Old Man" is good. Gross and deluded. I do wonder - or at least, I sometimes think that they must be aware on some level that this is just straight-up prostitution.

See, I always thought it was strangely liberating in a way. They got to humiliate the Nazis. (Thinking of Robert Clary).

Some people have a hard time letting go.

Ahhhhh, now I see. Yes, I agree.

I tried to reply to you earlier, but got some kind of error.

Agreed. Even if it turns out that Carol is covering for someone else, this is so much MUCH better than bringing the Guv back to twirl his mustache and let us know who to hate.

I know it's a joke, but wouldn't putting new arrivals into quarantine for a few days be a pretty smart move? In case someone's bitten or otherwise sick?

Even more reason to lament the delay!!!!!!!
