This made me laugh probably a little harder than I should have.

The men haven't been weak over children or babies? What about Darryl? He spent all his time Season 2 searching for Sophia and hanging onto his belief in her survival. Rick, undone by his new daughter, and completely committed to his son? Even in this episode, we have Dying Beardy Guy being all broke up about leaving

Still don't care because pork=delicious.

I wonder if the author likes music? I can't really tell.

Right, because she can only be a badass OR a complex person with a backstory, not both.

Totally this ^. If it were a saboteur, why not poison the water supply? Why risk infecting yourself? Why not just go murderize everyone in their sleep?

Worse are the ones that say "I LIKE ANIMALS BETTER THAN PEOPLE ANYWAY". I don't see it here much but I see it fairly often on other sites. What a stupid thing to say - of course animals are more likeable than humans, they aren't as complicated to deal with.

Yeah, that's my assumption - that bites/scratches accelerate the process.

" rather than having a lot of pointless hypotheses and existential angst drag on for several episodes before someone figured out that there was a bad bug circulating through the community."

That looks bad for Tyreese, then, because he and Karen sure were swapping a lot of saliva.

And he was only 3 days from retirement, too.

Ha! It's Grimes.

I am just really liking Carl this season. I liked him in badass mode, too, but I like this version a lot. He's kind of redeemed and more complex than just "soulless killing machine".

Sheesh, I so agree. I understand that it isn't "Breaking Bad". I don't WANT it to be "Breaking Bad". We already HAD "Breaking Bad".

I really don't get why everyone was so upset about the pigs. What do they THINK we do with them? They are food. Human stomach, zombie stomach, not much difference to the pig.

No.

And a slightly queasy one, amirite?

For what it's worth (not much) I think the 2 flu sufferers were killed prior to torching, not burned alive. There was the copious blood trails, and their burned bodies didn't look like they had tried to move or escape their fate.

I could see the body-burner(s) being Carol and Sasha, or Carol, Sasha, and Herschel. Members of the council who think stronger measures need to be taken with a possible viral epidemic, who maybe went to check on the quarantined people, found them in an advanced state of the illness, and acted quickly.

They sure would, and I think that's what we need to consider when speculating about who might be doing it. I just think an adult would have more autonomy than a child living in a small space with another child and an adult.
