I've never seen this show (doesn't appeal to me, particularly, I'm not really a half-hour sitcom lover) but I'm kind of disappointed anyway, because the promo pic shows that some talented people are in it. Green, Martin Mull, Pete Riegert, even Brenda Song is one I like. Sorry that they can't get better material.

Well, I think you're right that Walt didn't have a really clear-cut Eureka! moment that caused him to walk away from his empire and on the way into a redemptive arc. BUT, I would say he did have a few reasons to do so:
