I had an actual question too (although I was going to wait until next week to ask it). Wither thou, Savage Dik?

Well I'm old as fuck, and have a BFA in Printmaking from the stone age. I got into digital printing and worked prepress for a few years and eventually worked up to being a worldwide manager at an international digital imaging management rights company.
You just HAD to ask, didn't you…
I'd recommend passing on "vorefur" as well, in fact, I'd recommend it perhaps even more vigorously.

@avclub-774c4a3e756c4d8f28b15a27ed4408c7:disqus , I would never, ever say that it's for everyone or even for most, just that it is not necessarily a poor cousin to a "real-life" relationship.
I agree with you (and Dan) that, if one is going to change one's life circumstances drastically (i.e., leave a current spouse or partner, pack up and move across the country/world, undergo sex reassignment surgery) for a love you met and nurtured online, at the very least you should meet in person several times and…
Of course, it only means one thing. Everyone else stopped watching "The Killing".
This has never happened to me before.
I've heard anecdotally somewhere that it takes basically half as long as you were together to "get over" a breakup fully - to open yourself up to the possibility of trusting someone again. I'm sure that only holds true up to a few years, but with my breakups it did seem to hold more-or-less true.
And what was with Becker's wife hitting on Chief the previous episode, right in front of their kid? That was odd….
Ha, I lived in Seattle for 20 years so it's always kind of a game to watch shows that take place there and try to figure out where scenes are (supposedly) happening (usually it's just establishing shots). Vancouver does look a lot like Seattle, but in that particular scene, I was thinking, "Wait, so, did they move…
I agree, and I'm honestly a little bewildered that people would think the Lady Stoneheart reveal would be so soon. It seems to me like it would be way too cheap to kill Catelyn last episode and then just go, "PSYCH! She's still here!" in the next. Give people time to live with the loss.
This seems as good a place as any for me to note that Cersei kind of broke my heart this episode, mostly during her scene with Tyrion. No mean feat considering she's such a rotten person. Lena Headey really does such fantastic work with her.
Gah, Maester Pycelle. The old wretch.
Michelle Fairley was just incredible in that scene. I've read the books, and even so, I was shocked by how real she made it for me. I did cry out to the television twice, first when she goes BSOD seeing Robb killed, then when her throat was slashed - "OMG THEY KILLED CAT".
I read the books, knew what was going to happen, but wow, it still took me by surprise. I don't cry out to the tv all that often but I did tonight.
I too would enjoy seeing Zach Braff's Kickstarter for Groceries and Rent.
Whoa seeing this headline freaked me out - my dad's name was Tim Buckey, and he died a couple year ago. Freaky!
