I usually enjoy Zach's reviews but this one, and last week's, are really making me feel that he's holding Season 2 against this season unreasonably. I felt he was a lot harder on this episode than it deserved - everything he said definitely applies to last season, but this season I feel they've made some good progress

As unbelievable as it is to me, I'm going to actually defend Andrea remaining on the show. Any day during the first two seasons I would have agreed with you, that she could not die soon enough to suit me. But this season, even though I dislike her character, she is at least now a character (even though still a thin

I read this as "Carol gets to have a zombie possum named Snickers" and I think I like that even more.

Awww, he sounds really sweet. I finally took the time to watch Talking Dead just to see him, and he seems very sincerely excited and grateful for the responses.

It was just his bad luck of the draw - he wasn't with anyone else he could have sacrificed himself for. I imagine he gritted his teeth, sighed "Aw hell, naw" under his breath after looking at Carol and rolling his eyes, then squared his shoulders to rush in to the feeding frenzy.

I'd forgotten Maggie's face until reading your post - really some good work by all four actors, IMO. Even though I didn't like Lori's character much, I always thought the actor did a pretty admirable job with what she was given, she communicated that brittle, passive-aggressive Steel Magnolia soccer mom well.

I hope you have expressed to him how beloved he is by AVC commenters.

@avclub-675adbbb1b2c32bc073df682649119e9:disqus I agree about the ending being very affecting emotionally. I was never a huge Lori fan but a lot of the time I did understand why she was the way she was. I really didn't even register the gruesomeness of her C-section since I was actually tearing up (okay, crying)

I don't think there've been many spoilers as egregious as that GoT one. Most of the spoilers here are from people who read the comics, but the TV show has veered wildly from the source material. But if you're like a few people here who don't even watch the "Previously On…" or "Next Week On…" for fear of spoiling, stay
