Totally agree with you both. Mike isn't back in it to keep his granddaughter in diamond tiaras for life. He's back in so that he can remain in her life.

I have to say, @inko8:disqus , that while I agree with you in that rear-entry penetration as shown in the show a couple of times does indeed indicate "doggie-style" vaginal penetration, I have to go with Nibbler that anal penetration is not (necessarily) painful nor designed for men exclusively. I'm female, pushing…

He'd probably be doing EVERYONE a favor if he does just kill Walt. Skyler, Walt Jr., Holly, Hank, Jesse, himself. Everyone.

@avclub-230e46d19fe78a6c8dc715659a7188d7:disqus It would really surprise me if they don't show/explain how Brock was poisoned. Their track record for wrapping up seemingly discarded plotlines is pretty good overall, I think? Not perfect, of course - wasn't Marie some sort of klepto/compulsive liar at one point? - but…

This is definitely an intriguing take on things.

@avclub-d8c4b9a46ef46a0b3dae8a1e1279a8d8:disqus I might just be reading your post incorrectly, but Walt had broken in on a different night to get the meth, not the same night Jane died. The cardboard pulled away from the window was a sign of a "new" break-in, and the camera did pause on Mike to show that he saw it.

Little-known fact: here in North Dakota your only dressing options are: ranch, bleu cheese, ranch, french, and ranch. No exceptions. I think they even use ranch on their "caesar" salads. Once in a while you can find a very sad looking vinegar-and-oil set at a restaurant.

I agree. I think Hank's view of his brother-in-law as Weak Nice-Guy Loser is a really tough one to overcome in order to put him in league with Gus Fring, Superdealer of the Southwest.

"And though Mike is honorable as killers go, I don't think he would have let her live if he really believed killing her was his best option."
I really suspect its going to be the 180-degree opposite of one last selfless act for Walt; I think it is going to involve compromising/threatening members of his family, maybe even holding them hostage in a standoff, since his concern for his family is the very last link left of his humanity. And he'll find a way to…
