Ahh.. I see.  Yeah, that bothers me a bit too.  It isn't just the prison where this is a problem.  How come there are so many intact zombies around?  I wondered why Sophia was so intact, for example.  I guess either some zombies are satiated after one bite or a lot of people were still able to escape after one bite

I like to think that scratch would not have killed Tiny.  I've been happy with the rules that a bite will kill you because zombie saliva is nasty.  But zombie blood going all over the place is clearly not a concern to anybody so I don't like that fingernail gunk is somehow lethal.  I think Rick just used that an

Yeah, there are a lot of "initial outbreak" questions that haven't been explained well at all.  But you've missed a big plot point that was revealed last season.  Everybody is infected and if you die for any reason at all, you will become a zombie.  The theory here seems to be that the bite just gets you a real nasty

How do we know the military fell?   The group has only explored a relatively small area.  They've seen helicopters.  And we know from trailers this season that communities do exist.  Maybe there are entire military bases that survived.
