Robert Forster's performance in Jackie Brown is just about my favorite performance by anyone in any movie. The last Tarantino movie I saw in its entirety was Kill Bill Vol. 2, I just haven't mustered up the strength to give anything else a look since that.

Every year I will eat one to see if my feelings have changed on them and every year it's the same- "Nope, still digusting"

The whole The Day the Clown Cried story is my favorite Hollywood legend.

And Michelle Pfieffer being so freaking beautiful in it that it almost boggles the mind.

I have a weird soft spot for Grease, EXCEPT when it comes to believing that Sonny and Putzie could actually be T-Birds rather than objects of T-Bird bullying, like Eugene. (I love Eddie Deezen, he is the movie nerd by which all other movie nerds should be measured)

70's auteur cinema as a whole. It's all just too…70's. I can't get into any of it no matter how hard I try, Godfather included.

He really is good in it, one of my favorite roles of his.

It's to distract from the increasingly ridiculous carpets he staples to his head…

Technically, you should have identified yourself first as a pedant before engaging in pedantry.

I don't know how you guys walk around with those things.

Pat Roach as General Kael is exactly how I picture Robert Baratheon to look. Mark Addy did a great job, but imposing he is not.

I know it's movie and not TV, but…that's some bad hat, Harry.

Anytime I want to see what great fight choreography looks like, I make sure this isn't on so there's no chance I might catch a glimpse of Bridgette Wilson-Sampras "fighting"

I read it first as Absurdo Industries. Maybe a more fitting name?

Two, four, six, eight, Fleming's sexism was very great! 'Great' meaning large or immense, I'm using it in the pejorative sense.

They were pretty dressed up for a trip to the fast food joint weren't they.

Ah yes, a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. That's exactly what I think to myself whenever I see her.

I got on the books pretty late (mid-season 3 of the show I think?) and was immediately hooked, thanks in no small part to his actual writing ability. We joke about his food descriptions, but they're good descriptions!

The first time this type of thing really jumped out at me was reading Dan Brown. He comes up with some pretty interesting ideas for his books but good god is the character dialogue horrific.

Don't forget the chicken grease, it's forever running down everyone's chins…
