I'm going through the inverse of this currently with my 11-year old about music. New does not automatically = good, nor does older then her mean bad.

If nothing else it was my first exposure to Elizabeth Debicki. I'm a sucker for women that can look me right in the eye.

Buon compleanno!

Ahem, Lektor. Has anyone ever come across an explanation for that?!

It's my absolute A-1 favorite movie, so I've always been afraid to read the novel and be disappointed in it.

That reminds of the moron who wanted everyone to boycott Fury Road because it was ruining an "American classic" (I don't remember the exact phrase).

Lately I've been on a "I wonder where that was actually filmed" bent, for which it is also useful, but that just ties into the cast and crew "just the facts" usefulness that most of us use it for. I spent some time in those message boards years ago….I don't like to think about that period of my life.

Hey, at least they found Cliff "Man of all nations" Curtis down there…

My first job out of college was customer service and my manager had this little plaque on his wall that had "Yes! We have no bananas!" that he'd received from some "Effective Customer Service Strategies" seminar.

While we're at it, something tells me her needs weren't exactly being met being married to a misogynistic piece of shit like her husband even when she was "getting it".

The more I think about it, the more I think he's the one that's going to get "exampled"…

He reminded me of the scene in Kingpin when Woody Harrelson loses his hand bowling against the "priest". They show him (the priest) holding a cigarette, he says "bowling for money is my only vice", as the woman is handing him his scotch, and he pats her on the tush. He looks up and says "Ok, 2 vices" and Bill Murray

I still remember the "Making of" featurette they used to play on HBO all the time. Not only did the bus only get a couple inches off the ground for a second or so, they had the stunt driver in this crazy zero-G getup that was all bungee cords so his spine wouldn't shoot out of the top of his head when it landed.

She just said on Howard Stern this Tuesday (3/1/16) that her husband is 5'2"

No gentleman's F here by golly, this is the real deal

I haven't read it, but I believe that's a huge part of World War Z. Millions of people flock to Canada because it's too cold for the zombies, and then they (the people, not the zombies) all promptly freeze or starve to death.

I was disappointed when I bought the soundtrack and it wasn't her version.

That whole scene when she's onstage is amazing.

I will say that in my opinion, that was one of the few things about that movie that worked, and they did a good job of showing Reed's offensive capabilities in the two very, very brief "action" scenes. It's definitely a hard one to pull off in live-action for sure.

"To be clear, when I asked for more women of color on Supergirl, this isn’t exactly what I had in mind."
