I saw it, too! That was almost as cute as Baby Groot.

Oh man…classic Gillan!

Agreed. Maybe this is on me, but I was expecting it would be a much larger event from the way they were talking. This is BS.

Almost all of Pine's dialogue feels like they just filmed the first comeback the writers could think of. I don't need his reactions to be slick script-doctored zingers, but I'd like something a little zippier than 10 variations on a deadpan "okay…"

Heads up: if you haven't seen Manchester By The Sea and plan on doing so, you probably shouldn't read that most recent Newswire or the comments.

We can't beat it…we can't beat it. I'm sorry.

Get thee to a subreddit.

It doesn't happen in the beginning by any stretch, unless you mean "before the movie starts." His backstory isn't revealed until at least 45 minutes into the movie, maybe even an hour.

SERIOUSLY.

I've been there. Sometimes I just don't want to hear yet another incompetent but arrogant loudmouth work his way around to threatening to kill Tom / getting himself killed.

ICE-T: "It's called Populism, a mix of racism and nationalism. Folks try it in comment sections, next thing they know they're screaming at an eight-year-old Indian girl that they're in Trump Country now."

I'm sure they'll show it once he's out of office. So: next season.

I came to post sorta the same thing: I just want the dumb Gwyneth jokes to end…not because I disagree with their implicit criticism of her but because they've become so fucking hack. She's like the Nickelback of actresses now, down at the bottom of an endless, unfunny internet pile-on.

There's also the consolation prize where I don't unsubscribe, but make it so that only the most recent episode gets kept. Which I guess is the podcast world's version of "I'm not saying we'll NEVER get back together, but…"

C'mon, man…I need a gimmick. Some of us post in Cookie Monster voice, some of us repost Avenged Sevenfold comments, and some of us are just really really boring.

Hot damn, an 8-inch floppy reference! Have my upvote.

The funniest movie moment of 2014 was when Bryan Cranston's ZIP discs still worked 20 years later. Dude, those things would have been unreadable long before that. Like 19 years and 10 months before that.

Your Slint joke in Podmass was so fucking good I tracked you down over here to tell you rather than ruin it with a reply.
