Simpsons did it.
Simpsons did it.
That's actually makes it a little more understandable, then? I guess? Like I could see someone with a lot of disposable income saying "We'll go to the Bahamas, camp out on the beach, hang out and get loaded and have fun, and if any of the bands end up being amazing that's even better."
AND it was a synergetic tie-in to a faded celebrity's pointless doomed "me too" app!
I'm really fascinated by the demographics here. Who was this festival even FOR? The acts are all solidly mid-tier draws, they're not "spend multiple thousands of dollars to see perform" acts.
Other times, Atamanuik’s Trump is quieter in his disappointment in himself, like when he’s locked in his car, hunched over and grumbling as he gorges on fried chicken and Burger King.
Heh, my browser blocks twitter media by default, so I thought the picture in question was the one in the header. "Seriously, people can't see that snake!?"
You MEAN?…you DONT (like?) THE POETRY?…SLAM (voice!)?
Hold on, let me go over to the creative bullpen and read that to the graphic designers. We were here late working on a pitch and I'm sure they could use a good laugh.
Poor Rob Funches…cut in the first round of Celebrity Chopped and now this!
I wasn't crazy about the show, but the opening credits were phenomenal, succinctly communicating the show's concept without any text or voiceover: https://m.youtube.com/watch…
"Everybody couldn’t believe it" sounds like an old Horse_eBooks tweet.
I've seriously been wondering where you fit 100+ people in the White House. A ballroom? An amphitheater? The bowling alley?
I unsubscribed after the Forrest Gump episode, during which Faraci brayed his theory that the film was actually a subversive skewering of its topic. I didn't unsubscribe just for that lukewarm take, though, but rather his tone: that Zemekis had hidden a secret meaning in the film, and only Devin had been able to…
You don't really hear either all that often. The most common term is "effect." There's also "routine," which usually implies something a bit more elaborate than just an effect, but that's not a rigorously maintained distinction; the two are often used interchangeably.
I watch this with my mom and sister after our weekly dinner. The show should really have a short framing device where we're told it takes place in a future amusement park for Western enthusiasts and just leave it at that. They wouldn't have to mention it or follow up on it, just put it out there to help folks'…
Like with all Ryan Murphy shows, watching it will remind you that life is very long…when you're lonely…
I've been thinking about this part of your comment all afternoon:
Give the rights back to Marvel.
[types up long post about how the lineup was just announced earlier this week; realizes that was actually New Warriors; turns in nerd badge]
I find it oddly infuriating! Like how two years running there were two different critically acclaimed art films called Leviathan.
