The dialogue-free "Season Of The Witch" version of the ParaNorman trailer is one of the best previews I've seen for a kid's movie in a long time:
Q: Blur or Oasis?
A: PULP
My favorite exchange in the entire series is in this episode:
Hey, Badlan…maybe you should edit your original post to explain how to collapse this thread? I'm guessing Close-watcher isn't the only person here who didn't know about that function.
No, not a joke, an actual note from an editor. Too many bad words—it angers up the parents—and not enough "depictions of intimate moments between the leads." I assume they meant I needed to add boring corny stuff about how dreamy it is to kiss each other, not hardcore descriptions of full penetration. But you never…
One of the notes I got back on my YA novel was that there needs to be "less profanity, more sex scenes."
"first-time viewers shouldn’t expect too much to come of this information"
I think the podcasts they review is less a conscious decision and more "Okay, all of us here listen to podcasts, so let's write a paragraph reviewing them and squeeze a feature out of it." So if they're not covering a certain podcasts, it's just because nobody on staff listens to it.
I like the idea, but it seems weird to post Spoiler Space a full day before 99% of the readers are able to actually see a movie.
I don't know the, uh, mythology of the show, but if they'd been together since high school their relationship makes sense to me.
Where did the image from the top of the article come from? I thought this part of the show was in black and white. Does NBC release promo photos after SNL has aired?
Now we know who's available for SNL on Grammy weekend!
That dog should win a Emmy.
I just realized that's why he's not playing the opening montage of callers any more, either.
I don't think that's actually true, though. I know he says that a lot, but not only would Andy Breckman talk about Monk all the time on Seven Second Delay, he even had Tom on to talk about it.
Sorry for the derail—and I'll admit I haven't heard the podcast—but I thought the slaves on Tattooine had implants or something that 'sploded if they ran away?
"Tom hasn't had many comedy luminaries on lately"
I agree with them not covering The Best Show on the weeks that Tom's not in the studio. I've said this before on here, but it's not like Mike and Therese are really "filling in" for Tom and they don't even call what they do "The Best Show." They're doing their own (mildly diverting) show that happens to involve fans…
