I know I've seen the Skulls, but I can barely remember anything about it. I think I may have even gone away thinking it was a better movie than I expected, which I guess says something about my taste in movies as a teenager.

Jesus, that thing about writing a book in a cabin in the woods or whatever the fuck that was, it was just amazing. I really love when he's angry or annoyed, he gets so weird.

I don't know anyone in the real world who's even heard of the AV Club. I tend to just think of it as a place where a couple hundred nerds and pop culture snobs hang out while they're wasting time at work. It amazes me sometimes that so many entertainers get so worked up about even being mentioned here.

That question, and "I love you so much, Bicentennial Daddy" definitely made up for an otherwise not so great episode.

Throwing Shade is another one of those shows that's consistently hilarious, and I can't figure out why it isn't covered in Podmass. Its pretty impressive that they can get as much mileage out of their "we're going to say really awful things, but in a really deadpan manner" shtick as they do. That show is one of my

My all time favorite bit is "What if Penny met a dinosaur?" That one gets me giggling if I even think about it too much. But "What? C'mon!" is just as much a classic.

@avclub-00b5f80238003a864880fe7d05293d64:disqus The Punic Wars episodes were awesome! For me, that was the point when History of Rome went from a show that was alright to listen to when I had nothing else in my queue to something really amazing.

I was actually planning on checking that one out once I got through with History of Rome. I'm glad to hear its so good.

@avclub-513006c3cad910dbda9b1762f72aaeec:disqus I remember that one, as well as "The Secret Diaries of Desmond Pfeiffer" and something called "Shasta McNasty" all being shown on UPN. And all failing horribly.

Good, but not great sounds about right for Playing God. I didn't care about either of the plots, and found Arjin to be insufferable. He seemed to have only two settings:uptight, and boring (shouldn't a hot shot pilot actually act like kind of a hot shot at some point?). But that's ok, because I think the episode had
