Sadly I had the same reaction.

That's pretty curmudgeonly of you. When exactly for you was the golden age of tv comedy?
That was the worst episode of Sunny I've ever seen. Though if they ever do one of those overviews on the AV Club of this season of Sunny, I'd love to hear what the impetus behind this episode was. Oh well, I guess even Sunny needs a free pass every once in a while.
I am glad someone else has pointed this out. Aubrey Plaza has got some great legs. It couldn't hurt to amp up her sex appeal to get more people to watch this show.
I made it 5 minutes because I was too lazy to get up. At least it was still better than the last 5 minutes I watched of 2 Broke Girls. I suppose Whitney Cummings made the right choice of which shitty show to stick with.
The book was the jumping of the shark moment for me, to use a tired phrase that hasn't been replaced by anything better. It made no sense and it wasn't at all funny. The end gag with Dwight and Jim was about as funny as 2 Broke Girls.
My first thought was whether this was the same author- which got me excited. That is one of the best non-fiction works I've read.
The best comment I've seen in weeks.
Your are only about the 1000th person to notice that.
This just sounds ridiculously depressing. Some needs to do a PSA announcement on MTV telling America's youth they have a better chance at becoming rocket scientists than becoming fashion designers. They even have a far better chance of becoming a movie star.
I always thought bald people were miserable because they knew they'd die alone.
Wow, just wow. With what he wrote and what he is responding to in his twitter account, is it really that hard to understand that one could misconstrue it that badly?
Don't talk shit about the cartels. You can't blame them if Iran tries to come to them with some cockamamie terrorist plan. When a homeless man unsuccessfully asked me for drugs, that doesn't make me to blame for his od.
The "Whitney sucks while 2 Broke Girls is promising" line Todd has taken is certainly odd. But if you read the comments, a very small minority + Todd like this show. The rest of us are perplexed why anyone would defend it.
I watched 5-10 minutes of 2 Broke Girls this week. It's the first I've watched since the pilot. 4 things come to mind:
Got it. iddqd is advertising a joke twitter feed. It perplexed me that someone would post something stupid and random like that.
Really? Because my 30 sec internet search tells me you made up an inane statement and thought it was something other people might like to read. Why is that?
Who are you responding to? Nothing I said implies anything like that.
I just happened to catch 1 minute of Sean Hannity interview Dick Morris and I can tell you I'd rather watch an hour of Rosie than another minute of that useless dreck. 75% of the US population would be better off watching this show or this network than whatever they actually happen to be watching- be it Pawn Stars,…
I was referring more to his "the younger the better" attitude towards girls, and 18 is by no means a cut-off for him.
