Part of Fancy Party's appeal is that it was a surprise, whereas most wedding episodes are overhyped ahead of time by the network, media, fans etc. This doesn't come through if you are watching it in reruns.

Leslie's House is a terrific episode. Between singing, "This is how you eat it", putting the blanket in his mouth, and researching India it is Tom Haverford's finest episode.
I too like the Robot Devil. I hope whoever did the voice acting for that character is getting consistent work.
Parquet Floors and (unpaid) Recreation
Callamezzo's challah meze: Joan's cookbook of Jewish appetizers
Strange how they mention that Andy Cohen went to college in Boston, but don't mention anything about Julia Child's show being produced by WGBH in Boston and shot at her kitchen in Cambridge.
If you haven't seen the movie then, no, you don't fully appreciate the scope of it.
The "superfans" who said they liked that Winter Olympics crap are the Hidden Valley Ranch of human beings.
Adam saying Doug using PBR is so Portland is like saying someone using Arbor Mist Strawberry White Zinfandel is so Napa Valley.
Gregory didn't even speak. He knew that if you fade into the background and just focus on cooking a good dish that you are confident with there is no way you are going to lose. And he was right. Its not like the winner of this episode got a prize.
Now we need to tackle the nation's illiteracy problem by teaching youths how to read the word "chimp".
Kinda logical in a reality TV sort of way how they had Tiffani Faison pop into the contestant's apartment because her restaurant is across the street from where the chefs are staying.
The cranberry challenge was kinda lame but at least it was just for an advantage in a mid-season quickfire. It wasn't part of the finale like in that Vancouver episode. Or the main challenge like the Pee Wee Herman episode in Texas.
Leave the movie making to the Jews and Atheists, Kirk. They've got it covered pretty well.
Someone could study their ass off and improve over the break before the finale like Mike "Pepperoni sauce" Isabella did. Or someone could get hot during last chance kitchen and become unstoppable like Kristen a couple seasons ago.
I think everyone involved was like, "meh, fuck it" since they could tell they were gonna win and Katsuji had immunity.
Ya the production levels of Parts Unknown have been insanely good. The Shanghai episode was beautifully made.
They just did Top Chef Duel in LA and how many seasons of Top Chef Masters?!? Other cities have food trucks and Asian people too.
Ming Tsai cooks with tea all the time so it seemed logical to me.
The ending to this movie is both terrifying but satisfying at the same time. Terrific end to a terrific movie.
