I think the original proposal scene with the "Suddenly Seymour" reprise was cut on purpose, as it was too jokey. It's a real shame that this scene, and the full dream sequence of "The Meek Shall Inherit," weren't recovered for this Blu-Ray.

They did film this sequence but it was cut out and the footage wasn't found. However, in the deleted scenes on the new disc (actually a gag reel for the wrap party) there are a couple of clips from it. It looks like it was really way too hokey to fit the tone of the rest of the film.

The longer version of "The Meek Shall Inherit" with Seymour's soliloquy is on the movie soundtrack, they just cut the sequence from the film.
