First, if you are THAT invested in the ambiguous gender identity of a mysterious hoodie in a show that can't even be bothered to effectively portray characters we've spent two seasons with, then I just don't know what to say.
THANK YOU. That is exactly what I thought was going to happen - they'd jump on the roof, lay spread-eagle, Rick would give a "let's roll!" pound on the roof & off they'd go. Not "let's use the RV as a stepladder to go right back down to the back of the zombie herd, and useless guy kind of just hangs around gawking…
Oops, that clip cuts off Hartnell's speech - which is the first time that we hear the Doctor ruminate on the heavy burden of history and the loneliness of the time traveler.
Well, he reads the Doctor the riot act here, over the Doctor's laissez-faire attitude towards the lives of people who get killed in "historical events." Ignore the cheesey animatics. Hartnell's speech is great, too.
I say, hire Richard O'Brien.
I would love to see the Monk back. Can I suggest Richard O'Brien to play him? He'd be impishly wonderful and look great in the cassock (though really, the Monk should be a master of disguise).
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is HOW IT'S DONE. :D
Behold - the Wig of Fear!
Pig boob for the win.
This has got to be one of the single funniest bits in the entire Muppet catalog. The way he takes hits from Statler and Waldorf AND suffers a zing from Gonzo ("Which way did you come in?") is just gold.
Then again maybe they are hoping he rapes them?
That picture is the stuff of nightmares.
I have never met a Tyler who wasn't a douche.
Three things. One, the Museum Sketch is priceless.
See "Doctor Who: The Invasion of TIme" lol
No, no, it's the Vardans from Doctor Who: The Invasion of Time!
I think he's said so a few times but I was thinking of the TimeGate Convention, Atlanta, GA, Memorial Day Weekend 2009. Said in response to a direct question, and the phrase "not the bloody Master" was used LOL
So, no review of the new Ab Fab??
Another nice "Little Shop" quotation in the "Nice Place to Visit" write-up. When is AV Club going to get on the "bring us the original ending" bandwagon, eh?
