I am appalled that "Take Me Out Tonight" is not on this list.

Are you freaking kidding me? Why spend so much time on whether or not the Monkees wrote/played their own songs? How does that factor into enjoying their music? Is a song less good because it was written by Boyce & Hart instead of Mike Nesmith?
It's called "Munnabhai MBBS" (2003). http://en.wikipedia.org/wik….
Michael Jackson is STILL a prominent reference for Indian films - the 1980s had nothing to do with it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fM… "Nartanatara" from Ek Niranjan (2009)
LOL! Where have you been searching? Bollywood is in the middle of a horror boom at the moment. Check out "Raaz 2: The Mystery Continues" and "1920" - "Haunted 3D" just did fairly well at the box office but I haven't seen it yet so I can't comment.
I didn't say that Indian people and farther afield don't watch Jersey Shore (I know somebody in Pakistan who watches) but it's not a cultural force. The people who watch Jersey Shore are people who are in touch with American pop culture and have probably spent significant amounts of time in the US and are watching…
The Jersey Shore in Mumbai? Really? Are you kidding me?! I respect Mr. Gibson but the cultural superiority in that statement is just mind-boggling. India has a VERY active reality TV schedule of their own - just Google the shit show that's happening right now with the fifth season of Bigg Boss.
@drdarkeny To be fair, I don't think anybody liked Aishwarya Rai's "Umrao Jaan" - even people who like the SERIOUS Bollywood films.
@drdarkeny That's because it's not Bollywood. Endhiran is a Tamil language film. :)
@yeah Raavan was awful due to the Junior B's less than stellar acting skills. Raavanan, the Tamil version with Vikram, is really, really good. It's been getting some good write-ups on the film festival circuit, too!
@jeff the dog For Tamil films, you might enjoy Bala's work - try "Pithamagan." It will punch you in the gut but it's worth it.
