The Murray-Federer match was not incredible to watch. In fact it was boring as hell. Federer looked awful. The highlight of the tennis for me was seeing Del Potro's emotional reaction to winning the bronze. I was a little surprised at how happy he was.

Yep, and it also had "I Feel For You," which I actually think is not as good as the Chaka Khan version, but still pretty great.

Sports in movies and TV. "The Sopranos" was especially bad with this—they didn't even try to make anything look plausible (Meadow's soccer and volleyball, and the execrable horse racing scene with spliced-in footage from like the 1970s?), but I have a special place in my heart for Kirsten Dunst and "Wimbledon."

See, I always thought the ride was not life in general but specifically mob life. It's exhilarating but it's shoddily made and it can injure you. Which lends a bit of ominousness to the way Tony obliges his niece at the end by spinning her around, giving her the ride she can't/shouldn't go on.

Question: Why doesn't Vito just kill those New York guys? Obviously he was willing to kill people to keep himself out of danger.
