"paying the iron price" actually.

I don't think Rabin is the control for this film review. Tobias would be the go to. And this is nothing like his style.

Turns out I'm not that mean

You're what's wrong with America.

Two in fact.

Absolutely - and the reason is because the opening was from the Nurse's POV, Will's re-enactmant was from Gideon's POV and that is far more disturbing because a) we know Will is having to  live through torturing the nurse and b) the audience also experience it.

"Dance invisible monkey, dance"

Yeh I loved everything with Hannibal and Abigail, Hannibal and Bloom, Hannibal and Will, Hannibal and Crawford it was some of the best character stuff the show has done so far. I agree witht he article and I think AVC should review the ep officially.

I like to think talented film makers aren't so prosaically dismissive.

self indulegent vs altruistic; it's a fair but not 100% accurate comparison, it'll do for a snarky reply to a boring comment.

American film thanks god for the 70's

And yet, it's still far better than anything you could create at your most altruistic.

I bet Purefoy is cursing himself for taking this instead of the Hannibal role.

" Lost had answered most of its major questions long before the finale,"

She's clearly achieved that goal. In the worst possible way.

"That isn't the reason, though; that's the reason that experienced
screenwriters are *hired* to write screenplays. This is about
situations where the script is written and, thus, is already a known
quantity, meaning you don't have to judge the project based on previous
work."

@Bitenuker - you very much missed the point.
