Exactly, it was about the most obvious plot point in the whole show and it works gloriously with Will eating the breakfast too. Lecter is tainting him with the  blood of the victims. Absolutely superb.

Cox is fucking chummy with Will, that's what so unsettling about him, Hopkins goes for the hammed up scares, Cox plays  "Lektor" with none of the sturm und drang because he simply doesn't need to, he's just terrifying even while friendly.
