The original Blue Moody.
The original Blue Moody.
In 1990 or 1991, I bought an "original pressing" of Band on the Run at Beatlefest in NJ (because I used to do such things.)
Game meat is typically much leaner than beef or pork. We'd all be a lot healthier if our diet consisted of more bison, elk, venison and the like.
Remember when you could obtain a list of all the shows that the TV Club was covering, select a show and then scroll through the reviews/write-ups for that show on a season by season basis? Yeah, me too.
I am 39 and the only other comic strip that even comes close to Calvin and Hobbes is The Far Side, and that is a completely different animal.
I've reached the point in my life where any album in excess of 50 minutes would be so much better if edited down. Truthfully, let's go back to the days of single disc vinyl record albums and limit them to about 42 minutes. Perfect for my commute to and from work each day.
I didn't realize Denise Richards posted here!
CW's The Tomorrow People looks absolutely fantastic. (I actually quite like the show also, but visually it is just top knotch.)
The delivery of that line is absolutely perfect. Marc Cohn is very underrated. Of course, his basically hiding out from his record company for years did little to help his career.
Too cynical. Just watched this last night, and her face lights up when she reads "Hope she says yes," even before seeing the diamond.

I saw this in the theater when it was rereleased in London in 1995. Did not really know what to expect but, when it got to that super-long surgery scene, I just lost it — it tipped the balance from interesting, albeit dated, curio to sheer, comical ridiculousness.
Haven't seen the Weakerthans in years (missed the last show I had tickets for because of a time mixup) and never got to see JKS live.
I went to law school with him. That is all.
Heart of the Continent is one of my favorite songs in history. The line "As I stand before an unresponsive automatic door/ just another door that won't open for me anymore" kills me.
Their entire output is fantastic. As is JKS's solo album "Provincial" which is certainly not a "Weakerthans album by any other name."
I am not ashamed to admit that I loved the show as a kid and I am looking forward to this remake.
No mention of Jerry Seinfeld on Seinfeld? While he certainly had his share of neuroses, for the most part, the zaniness happened around him.
Tomorrow People based on a British show? COME ON! As anyone who grew up in the early days of Nickelodeon knows, the original Tomorrow People was a CANADIAN kiddie rip-off of Dr. Who. Curiously, created by the same guy who produced the best show ever — You Can't Do That On Television. And believe me, they did!
Is that screenshot from the upcoming Hunt for Red October remake that everyone has been clamoring for?
