I was talking about the HBO makeup people, the crewmembers responsible for painting the greyscale on her.

I have no idea if that's historical legend or what they actually did. But in my dealings with modern day horses, their first instinct is to gallop as quickly as possible in the opposite direction of anything that threatens them.

I thought it was advanced pancreatic cancer, and 99.9999999% of patients with that are dead within 6 months. I thought that guy was just waiting for the end, apparently he got a miracle.

I wonder if Varys coming back to Westeros is going to be the stand-in for the Golden Company invasion.

More than one character in this franchise has rued boy lords.

Regarding Mereen, I get what GRRM was trying to do. He was trying to show ruling is incredibly difficult and it takes a great deal of time and fuckups to learn how to do it properly. But it just went on too long.

Yeah, I like how they're keeping Varys in the forefront. I think Tyrion's journey to Danny is going to be a lot more intersting/entertaining with Varys as his travelling companion as opposed to characters we've never heard of before.

I have to say, it was very considerate of that knight's horse to stick around 20 yards from Pod after his previous rider had been cut down.

Kevan Lannister, woot! Oh, now I haz a sad.

Major disappointment there. Hey, HBO CEO of Tits, I didn't see one topless woman this episode. Let alone one gratuitously topless woman. What gives?

It's a password issue. For whatever reason the Comcast login I wrote down isn't working, so I'm stuck with the my laptop because it's the only device I'm still logged into HBO Go on. Naturally I neglected to save the login to my browser. Also, there are others in the residence who do not appreciate the gore and

Come on guys, it's not nice to call the Toronto Maple Leafs a girlfriend's improv troupe. They deserve it, though.

For me, while there were some interesting plotlines, that book felt really bloated. I have no difficulty believing the rumor that GRRM decided to go without an editor after Book 3. Also, it didn't feel like anything that important to the overall plot was going on in a lot of the storylines. It took me 6 months to

The man who figures out how to train ravens to scream, dive bomb, and peck at the message's recipient for a prescribed period of time would make a fortune. Think of it as a Game of Thrones version of a Harry Potter Howler.

I wouldn't put it past the showrunners to do as little foreshadowing as possible in order to maximize the shock effect later in the season. We shall see.

I agree about that, for me Cersei's AFFC story was one of the better parts of that book. I was just trying to offer assurances to those who weren't big fans of it.

In the books I always had the impression that Margaery's doe-eyed innocence was a facade, I've taken the show's portrayal of her as just TV needs to be less subtle about some things because of the differences between the mediums.

The show has a pretty good track record of fixing GRRM's missteps (I'm entertained by Brienne and Pod wandering around Westeros, and that achievement is a fucking miracle), so I'm pretty sure they're going to be able to make Cersei's story pretty damn entertaining.
