I'm going to reserve judgment until after next week. I agree that Stannis's army smashing the Wildling host would have made a great ending, but I want to see how they do it next week before I render my final verdict on how they handled the Battle of the Wall.

I didn't mind the Ygritte death, but 2 hours after watching the episode, I'm not really planning on catching any of the repeats. It was one big long fight, which was exciting to watch the first time, but there isn't a lot of rewatch value. There wasn't much, if any, character work done this episode. My verdict is…

I really enjoy both trilogies. Although if you stuck a gun to my head and made me choose, I'd probably go with "Princess." They did some great character work in that set of episodes "Liars, Guns, and Money" is great action/adventure yarn. Very exciting and satisfying, but not quite as resonant.
