Well, duh…

alurin—that's exactly what the elitists keep telling themselves, anyway.

'Armored'
Does anybody else think that it's weird that Matt Dillon has been in movies consistently since the late seventies, has always had a leading man's looks, charisma and physique, but as far as I can tell (without checking IMDB) this is his first straight action film?—Or is it that—it certainly seems to be

OMG! I found out my favor!

Over the weekend I watched the 'Real Ghostbusters' cartoon Xmas show, which had an excellent idea but a terrible execution—It has them capturing and containing the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, effectively exterminating the holiday altogether. Could've been brilliant. Instead it was just cheap.

Don't you mean E.G. daily? I mean, that was the name she recorded her debut album under:

or me to this:

Those Tenniel illustrations are integral. I've seen a number of other illustrator's take it on, but in the end Tenniel's have the effect of being both fanciful and meticulously realistic. If a footman had a fish for a face, it really would look like this:

Skinemax

I didn't actually watch 'Mansquito' because based on the title, the movie I imagined could never be topped by the real thing.

SyFy (pronounced "sigh-fee") should have been rebranded the CGI Channel. But a real SciFi channel should be showing low budget gems like 'Android' (which I watched on THIS yesterday) and otherwise mining the extensive vaults of old SF, Fantasy, and Horror movies. No wrestling. No reality shows. some old anthology

But The Quirk—that's exactly the angle they should have taken, but didn't have the courage for. Given that the oroginal story is revealed as a dream, why not kid that some with the problem of so called repressed memories. As for Frewer playing the White Knight as Don Quixote, that's kind if the way he was portrayed in

As a longtime fan of Lewis Carroll
I have to say this was a real let down. I have probably read 'The (original) Annotated Alice' more times than any other book, and the opportunities to make that story nightmarish abound (see also Jan Svankmajer)—C'mon guys, you could've dragged in elements of Carroll's own biography

There can be good CGI (but not on SyFy—who, when it changed its name should have called itself the CGI Channel) but when the average children's cereal commercial has better special effects than whatever hit the big screen pre CGI, the spectacle of it packs somewhat less wallop. I think part of what makes stop motion

Totz—you're in DC, right? I used to live two streets over from Meskerem and they DELIVERED! But I don't know if there are many Ethiopian restaurants in the rest of the country.

You got me—I found I had more than I thought I would when I started. But c'mon, it's still essentially "Talk Amongst Yourselves: the Feature". Next week's topic might as well be "Anecdotes on Which We've Dined Out Most." You'd get a lot of mileage out of that, too.

Or just nutmeg by itself—it's a lot of work but one of the best trips I ever took was on nutmeg

I haven't smoked weed since I became a responsible adult and left my bookseller job for teaching. Now I wouldn't know where to get it if I wanted it—or rather I do since I know it's probably being sold in my school on a daily basis, but that's how you get into real trouble career-wise. If it were legal I'd switch out

OUZO and CYNAR—I don't have to look them up. They're two of the unidentified files on my iPod, right?

I'm with Lemur, drinking Pennsylvania Dutch is like hedging all kinds of bets. Best with a sprinkle of Mace.
