Hannah/Miley is rarely in school. I can only think of maybe 2 episodes where the plot revolved around school.
Her high school is on that 2-day school week (or less), 5-day weekend (or more), along with Constance Billiard.
Add a roman numeral onto the end of it and you'll get closer.
Last I heard, Natalie Portman and Jude Law were attached to a Kavalier and Clay script. And those prospects do not excite me.
As I mentioned in a thread above, when the Scarlett Johansson clone first sees her cloner, it's in an ad for a perfume (Calvin Klein Eternity, as I seem to recall) that Johannson had recently made.
But what if the cloner (?) got cancer of the bowels or intestines? The clones wouldn't be able to be "harvested" (or whatever terminology the movie uses).
Excuse me, "go to the Island."
@ Meep: I hear that.
At the time, Scarlett Johansson was one of my favorite actresses, but after I saw this, I wasn't so interested in her work.
I read Never Let Me Go about 2 years after I had seen The Island, and almost immediately made the connection between the two.

Thanks.
I'm glad he addressed his issue with there being too much backstory, because that's how I felt as well.
Also, when does Season 4 start?
@ Banmar: Well, they named her Salome, what did they expect?
Forgot

Make Me Laugh
1. Most episodes from Seinfeld, but specifically The Hamptons, Marine Biologist and the one where George claims to be employed by Vandelay Industries.
The pre-opening credit banter in "Escape to the House of Mummies: Part II" always makes me laugh.
And anything Dr. Orpheus says: "Fetch me my BLUE WINDBREAKER".
"Now let's get out there and show them why our life expectancy is only 39 years".
My favorite as well.
I remember that my high school English teacher's favorite Onion headline was "Holy Fucking Shit, Man Walks on Fucking Moon" or whatever it was for the moon landing.
The one where they all go to Hamptons "to see the baby" and the one where George lies and says that he's a marine biologist never fail to make me laugh.
Cool
I think I'll have to check this out.
Also, I'm excited for Animation Month. The Triplets of Belleville is in my top 5, and it kills me that more people haven't heard of it.
@ Persia: I concur on the deliciousness of Connor. He's large reason of why I watch Mad Men.
I saw BAAADDASSSS (or however you spell it, the one about the making of Sweet Sweetback's Badass Song) in a theatre with my then-boyfriend, and 2 other couples, both of whom were elderly (we were in our late teens).
I also saw the Triplets of Belleville with the boyfriend (same one) and two other people there. Then the…
