Sleight of Hand is the only song on the album I love. I've seen them live three times but haven't heard that one. Youtubing it asap.

I definitely agree that PJ is a better album than Backspacer, even though I don't think it reaches the highs Backspacer does.

Yeah, I definitely think the band only had a 2-album lull, with Binaural being the only fully disappointing one of the bunch.

There was a Warped Tour (i think) where Cornell brought out Chester Bennington from Linkin Park to sing Hunger Strike.
That combo was undoubtedly worse than anything he could do to cover RATM.

I hate Sandra Bullock, but she's really good in this movie, and absolutely right for the part.

I'm not implying that Deakins' cinematography wasn't well utilized by Villenueve, rather that it is the sum of his well-utlized talents that makes the movie feel fluid. Everything else about the movie loses consistency towards the end, and I think a less gifted cinematographer wouldn't have been able to visually

This is a super long way of saying that popular music has split among so many niches that determining a unifying "voice of our generation" is silly.

I would have liked it more if he hadn't let his joke devolve into another joke about gross sexual embarrassment for Samberg. It's starting to take me out of Lonely Island songs and it really took me out of last night's bit.

I definitely had a hard time following how this review actually felt about some of the roasters. Ansari and Kroll are dismissively shrugged off right in the beginning but get specific props towards the end.

I almost feel bad for laughing every time he brings out those wolverine claws, but it's such an absurdly stupid joke to return to that I can't help myself. 
Having said that, they shouldn't return next season, and I fear that, with Miller's sensibilities, they might.

I don't like superhero movies (mostly), but I will love Afleck as Batman if he dons the Boston accent, refers to the Batmobile as "the Batcaaaa," and drops the f-bomb at least twice in every sentence.
