PJ Harvey's Rid of Me was recorded by Albini and was awesome.

I usually go with the 10 minute epic tool song- Lateralus, Pushit, Parabol/Parabola
For me, it's easy to get into the song and after a couple of those go by, I'm almost done with my crappy, crappy workout.

Love banjo beating, but scared of zombies
Bronco's conflicted…

Rusty french horn- hoo!

Or maybe the 'bwah- waaahh' muted trombone…

Cue the sad snoopy music…

I dunno, I heard that his complete lack of business sense and managerial impotence sent the number one cracker factory in town into a tie for sixth with "TableTime" and "Allied Biscuit.
Just sayin'…

Am I the only one who likes movies that are weird for weirdnesses sake?
I mean, you walk around on the right day and the surrealism of the real world is pretty amazing.
…of course, the drugs help. (It's like that drug trip in that movie I saw when I was on that drug trip)

I prefer 'Love is Nice'

Just gotta say- all three responses got a laugh…
Good job, fellas!

Kee-Riste
I dunno how this guy remains so popular- you'd think the whole 'people allow themselves to be berated by some asshole' schtick would've gotten old by now…

There's one in Portland Maine, too.
Don't know how it stays in business…

I agree, Penguin- but for me, the only ska is Jamaican ska. Even the early english stuff seems derivitive to me. (I'm not saying that people who like it suck and blahblahblah) I just can't get into it.
I'm more of a Rocksteady guy at heart, but man- the early stuff by Desmond Dekker, The Wailers, Alton Ellis, Prince

Yeah- that coda at the end felt REALLY tacked on…
Didn't exactly hate it, though.

I think ND does have a 'deep reservoir of melancholy', but deals with it in a very realistic high school way- Napoleon isn't totally aware of how bad he has it, because he's never known anything different. It takes getting out of a situation before you can really appreciate how bad it sucked. His dead eyed stare looks

I wonder what Professor Murder's gonna do…

Priest was the name of the lead in Superfly, so there's that…

Yeah, Legface- you couldn't be more thoughtful and correct.
…you've totally turned my world upside down with your magnificent insights.
If it's not the new thing, then how can it possibly speak to me, a card carrying member of the Pepsi Generation?

They're not BAD, they just have 'attitude'…

I will absolutely see this if'n it has Mr. Campbell in it.
