"I don't think he's going to give up. He has that look in his eyes like Ben gets when he plays Risk."

I read the first sentence and thought of Shaggy the rapper. And was a little confused.

"If you believe in Christmas, buy my festering turd of a record."

I love that movie. I'm always trying to get more people to watch it.
Toby Maguire can be good in very emotionally stunted roles, and he was good in this one.

I think Michael Chabon's better when his book are bigger in scope, or at least about pulpier subjects. I liked parts of the book Wonder Boys, but I found that the five-metaphors-per-sentence thing overwhelmed the story, especially when compared to the simplicity of the movie.
Yiddish Policemen is pretty awesome, though.

I kept waiting for a cut to Ben nodding and smiling.

That's why our matching bracelets say TURK and JDeeeeeeeeeeeee

I love The Book Thief. I'm excited but also apprehensive that a movie adaptation is underway.

Holy shit, I love The Seeing Stone. That was just about my favorite book in middle school.

He often says to himself, "My God, what HAVE I done?"

"It's a multipurpose shape- a box."

Curtis Sittenfield's book Prep was a book I wish I didn't empathize with as much as I did. The main character was all my worst high school neuroses and insecurities made manifest. It was both awful and vaguely comforting.
Also, the nerdy guy in Dazed and Confused who goes off into the rant about how he doesn't want to…

I just watched it on Hulu, and after weeping at Leslie telling Ron she wouldn't walk down the aisle with anyone else, there was a commercial break and the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial played.
That was just cruel.

I started liking Skyler when she FT.

They're my biggest "friendship ship" on the show (except Abed and Troy, obviously.) I just really like seeing them together. Not to mention it's the only way Shirley gets actual plot lines.

I love that movie, but maybe I'm just "different." (flails paws)
Really, though, Mr. Fox is a great movie. Is liking it really controversial?

Hell's bells!

GATORADE ME BITCH

But who will open and shut doors?

Did Ben saying that strippers make him sad remind anyone else of the incredibly depressing stripper from Party Down?
