That just isn't true. The criticism is solely about the characters. Has nothing to do with gender and its very frustrating to hear that again and again. I watch the show from a Brody centric POV and I dislike both Carrie and Jess, but only for their actions on the show. Not their gender.

Agreed. I'm not a huge Carrie fan but I do think he would be better off with Carrie than that hypocritical, traitorous, wife. And Jess is a useless mom. She tried to get her own daughter arrested. Fucks other guys while in the same hotel suite as her children.

It was pretty gross. Especially considering the righteous indignation about Brody just weeks earlier. I couldn't believe it. In the same unit as her kids. At least Brody had the decency to do it all away from home.
