I actually would like to defend the lack of a laugh track. Some sketches (like the Dead Parrot) I feel are enhanced by silent beats and awkward pauses. Sometimes the delivery on the show felt a little too rushed, or the the audience deafened some of the lines.

It's not especially one of my favorites, but Pink Floyd's The Final Cut has become a cult favorite in recent years.

Shooting Shark found a second life recently in their live sets (which thankfully gets rid of that horrible sax solo).

YES for DaDa. Alice's who early 80s stretch is especially underrated, but DaDa is fantastic. Pass The Gun Around is heartbreaking.

War was one of the first records I acquired when I got a turntable in college, and the A Side is one of my all-time favorite album cuts. Especially Like A Song and Drowning Man.

60s: tambourines

I buttle.

Despite the bad news, I'm always happy to read the regards given to Blue Oyster Cult around here. Back in dreary 2001, they were among several bands I stumbled upon in the midst of the era of Creed and Limp Bizkit that shaped my tastes musically. Heavy rock done in an offbeat manner was very much what I was looking…

To a degree, that was my take on Tucker: A Man And His Dream. Not that it was poorly made, I just can't figure out what would make the subject appealing on a cinematic level.

Same with Molly Hatchet.

Imogene?

Well, who didnt expect this movie to receive a critical pan, am I correct?

Peter Ian Staker…

This thread is udderly immature.

Eileen?

Huh. This was supposed to be in the All Star thread

Fort Sensible?

I still dont get the cult that The Cable Guy has acquired around here. It may have the Mr. Show crew, but its just another comedy centered around an annoying guy making an uptight guy`s life miserable.

Mayor: Do you realize how many Irish voters are in this city?
Winston: Alive or dead?

The Mask at least incorporated elements of the comic, if memory serves. Less said about Dumb and Dumber, the better.
