Agh, I was gonna do that bit.

Watching this show is one of my more enjoyable weekly televisual experiences, but I assume most people have a problem because they're too busy yelling "WHERE'S FIREFLY" at the TV to hear the good lines.

I started watching Ferguson during the Leno/Conan late-night debacle, and I try to catch it if I get a chance. He secretly became my favorite late night host as well. It might be because his monologues are usually actual monologues, with topics and everything. And it's surely because of that off-the-cuff, easygoing

Surely if the credited writing staff is contributing to anything, it's the monologue.

In… in your pants?

Yeah, this was a good one.

This was the best episode in ages, but Jere Burns' demonic Jack Kirby brow really freaks me out. How do they stay at that angle?

Michael's father has been dead since the series began. The too-easy revelation is that he is not-dead! I'm betting Anson is just screwing with him, as it's a little late in the series' run to go all "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight".

I was hoping for more David E Kelley jokes.

And what, no "Exit, pursued by a bear?" I mean, it is a Ryan Murphy show.

Aw, I was hoping for free verse.

Is every episode of this show one of those "Homer gets a new job!" episodes, and they all end up back at the plant by the beginning of the next one?

This was gonna be the one week where I actually agreed with the bad review of the episode, but it was not to be!

IT HAS A SNIPPING TOOL YOU GUYS

Twilight?

A failing nebbish writer and a library grad student? I think I am their incest baby.

Ugh, I wish I knew this was on, I would have recorded the HD version. Now I have to settle for the rerun in… gasp… 4x3!!!!!!!!

I thought I was the only one who liked it that much.

The next Batman cartoon will be CGI, though. If the animation is as fluid as the Batgirl bit here, it might be okay.

Luckily the lenses on my cowl are opaque… but even a Batman can cry.
