No mention of The Hitcher?
I was hoping to learn if he keeps in touch with C. Thomas Howell!

Yeah, Urbansquirrel, I remember when it came out. They had to change a lot of their marketing shortly after release because parents were taking young kids to it thinking it was family-friendly. The original ads were extremely misleading in that regard. When I saw it, I was prepared, however, and still came fairly

Pan's Labyrinth
My first child was born just before this came out. Seeing a child in that kind of relentlessly consistent danger, especially at home with a mother that can't be bothered to protect the kid and a stepfather who is a monster — I knew it was going to be a one-time viewing for me. That plus having a guy

If you don't have a chosen one, how else can the prophecy be fulfilled? Duh.

I'd say Ringo was the most 'soulful' actor of the Beatles. He really is the heart of Hard Days Night. But yeah, George Harrison's take down of the ad agency people is maybe the best part of the movie. Every time I see it I remind myself that I should say "I'll have a bash" more often. I never seem to remember,

Shouldn't have used Hal Jordan. Everybody knows the classic GL is…
…G'nort!

Oh mean, Jennifer Ehle???? That would've been so incredible, now I'm seriously bummed.

Catelyn's Casting
This will probably come across to some as sexist, but it's not intended that way.

Filmed on Sept 23rd
How do I know this?

Learning to hide behind doors was pretty fantastic.

There were definite pluses, though
-Sudekis as the Devil
-Nasim Pedrad dancing
-Vanessa Bayer as Baby Miley

Just because I started the whole NEVER FORGET thing (just the first week after the incident, somebody else took the torch every week since) doesn't make me a Rabin hater, far from it. I think in a lot of ways the original run of MYOF was my gateway drug to the AVC. I'd been a casual reader and Onion fan since day

If he'd just acknowledged his mistake or laziness or whatever he did that night that caused him to publish a review of a scene that clearly did not happen, there would be no need for threads like these. Kind of sad, really.

I would hazard to suggest that Kurt Russell might be the only good thing about Vanilla Sky, and he didn't play one of the roles you listed.

Just saw it in the theatre two days ago, it's still out and probably will be for a bit after the Oscars. That's how Oscar bait films usually operate.

It LOOKS really Chicago-y when they film outside, but it doesn't FEEL very Chicago-y when they do interior stuff. I can't quite place it. Oh right, it isn't real.

I know, it's the new non-sci fi frakk. Pretty soon everybody is going to be saying it, and it will be a nerd indicator.

I think it's a bit more than that. It's not just that they have nothing to lose, but the whole dying utterance thing stems from people wanting to get something off their chest before they die, sort of a last confession type of thing.

I believe Walter did a lot of evil things, and has spent many many years paying for them, and still is to this day, hence to me he's sympathetic.

Are we supposed to sympathize with Fauxlivia?
I mean she killed a lot of innocents back in the blue universe. Just because she got a bit caught up in her romance with Peter doesn't make her aces in my book.
